The JCMT (hereafter referred to as "the business") considers the trust of its customers to be of the utmost importance and considers the accurate and confidential handling of information relating to individual customers to be an important responsibility for the business.
To this end, JCMT has established a "Personal Information Protection Policy" regarding customers' personal information, and is committed to ensuring that all employees and affiliated companies are thoroughly familiar with the way in which personal information is handled.
The contents of this policy are as follows. The personal information already held and used by the business will also be handled in accordance with this policy.

The business will collect personal information in a lawful and fair manner. When asking customers to provide personal information, we will disclose the purpose of collection and the details of use in advance, and collect personal information within the scope of our legitimate business and to the extent necessary to achieve that purpose.

Personal information received by the project will be used within the scope of the consent of the person who has given the personal information and in line with the purpose for which it was collected. The purposes of use will be those matters within the scope of the legitimate business of the project and necessary for the achievement of those purposes, within the scope of the following "Scope of purposes of use".

・For other purposes for which the customer has been informed and consented to in advance.

If it becomes necessary to use the customer's personal data for purposes other than those listed above, the customer's consent shall be obtained for such use, except where permitted by law.

The business will not provide personal information of customers to third parties without the consent of the customer. However, this does not apply in special circumstances, such as when there are legal obligations to be complied with by the business in accordance with the laws and other norms applicable to personal information.

If you wish to inquire about, correct or delete any personal information you have provided, please make a request to the project.
Except in cases where such a request would seriously impede our business, we will disclose, correct or delete the customer's personal information within a reasonable period of time only when we can confirm that the request is made by the customer himself/herself.

In some cases, the person requesting disclosure (the person identified as the customer) may be asked to pay a fee for disclosure, in which case this will be made clear in advance and the fee will be borne by the customer.

The business shall comply with the laws and regulations relating to the protection of personal information applicable to the personal information held by the business.
This policy is determined in accordance with the laws of Japan and other norms.
This policy sets out the basic policy for the handling of personal information by the project and the project will endeavour to protect personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and norms.

The business has established a management system and implemented appropriate safety measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, destruction, falsification and leakage, and to ensure its accuracy and safety.
The company restricts the entry of outsiders into the offices that handle personal information, conducts education and awareness-raising activities for all officers and employees involved in the protection of personal information, and appoints a person responsible for the management of personal information to ensure the appropriate management of personal information.

The business will continuously review and improve its approach to the protection of personal information in order to respond to changes in the laws and regulations to be followed in Japan, handling methods and changes in the environment.
